Meet The Team
Always looking for inspiration

We are a nonprofit organization located in the southernmost part of Texas. Since our inception in 2002, we have provided a unique space for women to connect with local resources available to them.
In this region, there are numerous federally, state, and regionally funded programs that address the essential needs of the impoverished community.
However, we have also observed that certain dynamics have created a gap between service providers and beneficiaries. Although this gap helps meet needs, the human element is often lost in the delivery of urgent services.
At Mujeres en Victoria, we strategically position ourselves between service providers and recipients.
Our vision is to empower women to become co-healers within their own families and, in doing so, transform their communities.

Women in Victory seeks to empower women and knows that women are the gateway to healing families, which transform communities.

MeV is an established 501(c)3 organization and member of an alliance of Christian ministries called MOEDIM that provides ministerial support to Christian communities of faith with strong education and evangelism components. Through MOEDIM's Spanish-speaking theological education network, many MeV women seeking a deeper understanding of God, faith, traditions, and theology have attended Bible institutes, and some have completed master's-level theological education.

MeV is led by women with multiple professions who raise funds privately as needs arise and projects emerge. To date, there have never been any paid staff, as ministry leaders have organized this as a labor of love. The ministry has begun to grow in a different way as new leadership emerges and technology advances. As a result, the ministry is comfortable initiating formal relationships with external funders.

“Women in Victory arises from the shared desire of a group of women who, throughout their spiritual growth journey, discover that their talents have the power to inspire and support other women. Their mission is to guide them toward discovering their own gifts, thereby strengthening the community for the benefit of all.”
